To be said for increase of humility, patience, and generosity.
o God does not demand that we be perfect before He will love us. Guide me, Jesus through Mary.
o Mistakes teach us to face unknown evils, and the known, with personal responsibility in God.
o Humility is living always in total confidence of God's love for us, not in the opinions of others.
o Humility does not disturb or disquiet or agitate; it comes with peace, delight, and calm.
o Seek not the good opinions of others, but seek the good of others in all things.
o Lord, help me recognize my emotions, and to trust you when I feel rejected or ugly.
o Lord, help me recognize the defenses I use to avoid submission to others.
o Lord, help me to profit from my experiences of conflict, selfishness, arrogance, dumbness.
o Accept whatever happens as opportunities to learn better behaviors and grow in wisdom.
o Nourish the spark of hope within me with patience, actions, forgiveness, and love.
Glory be, O my jesus.
O God, who resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble: grant me the virtue of true humility, thru which Your Only-begotten son showed in Himself an example for Your faithful; that I may never by my pride provoke Your anger, but rather by my meekness receive the riches of Your grace.
Jesus, meek and humble of heart, hear me. Deliver me from the desire of being loved by anyone other than you, from the desire to be thought of well or praised, and from the desire to receive honors. Save me from the fear of being humiliated, despised, or rebuked. Help me, Lord, to desire that others shall be loved and respected more than I, and that others may increase while I decrease.
